Keep Your Cool With Goldsmith’s Sweat Solution
Hyperhidrosis is the term used to describe excessive sweating that isn’t always related to an environmental factor such as heat or exercise – and The Goldsmith Clinic now offers a solution.
People who suffer with Hyperhidrosis sometimes sweat so much that it can soak through clothes or drip off of their hands – often resulting in embarrassment or in more severe cases social anxiety. Sweating is a perfectly natural – and genius – bodily function which keeps our body temperature regulated so our bodies can perform at their best no matter how warm it is. It only becomes an issue once the dark patches that accumulate on clothes as they soak sweat up off of our skin begin to affect your confidence.
As a nurse, my main concern is always the comfort and well-being of my patients. I have a duty to ensure people are as comfortable as they can be in themselves and ultimately help them to become a more comfortable, confident version of themselves through the use of advanced aesthetics. I have recently completed the fourth module in my Aesthetic Medicine course with Totally Aesthetics. This is advanced aesthetics training and means I have perfected the skill of this treatment for Hyperhidrosis.
Medical Treatment Options
There are a number of medical treatments available to help people who feel that they sweat excessively such as prescription-strength antiperspirants, surgical sweat gland removal and advanced aesthetic treatment. The procedure is relatively comfortable and involves small injections through a fine needle into the areas of skin which are affected by excessive sweating. The injections work by blocking the signals from the nerve endings which tell your sweat glands to produce sweat.
This advanced treatment should always be administered by a fully trained and qualified medical practitioner who has completed the necessary training to ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the treatment.
We respect that this is a sensitive subject for many people; which is why we offer a professional, confidential service in our discreet clinic in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
