SkinPen® Microneedling
Skin needling, also called microneedling therapy or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally-invasive non-surgical and non-ablative cosmetic procedure for facial rejuvenation
It involves the use of a microneedling device to create controlled skin injury. As each fine needle punctures the skin, it creates a channel or micro-wound. The controlled injury triggers the body to fill these micro-wounds by producing new collagen and elastin which improves skin texture, smooths wrinkles, fine lines and softens scars.
What is SkinPen® Microneedling?
During skin needling treatment, slim, fine needles push below the surface of the skin and cause what is called a micro-wound.
When these wounds are created, the body’s natural defences are triggered and it begins to produce new skin cells, capillaries, and collagen in order to repair the damage.

Downtime: Skin may be red initially and some flaking of skin can occur but these symptoms should subside a day after treatment.

Course of 3 treatments is the minimal recommendation, every 4-6 weeks
