Covid-19 (Coronavirus) update from The Goldsmith Clinic
UPDATE: Saturday 21 March – Due to the ongoing crisis Theresa has decided to temporarily close the clinic and return to the NHS frontline – find the full update here.
Following on from the latest government advice we would like to confirm that the clinic is open as usual but with additional precautions in place.
Can we please ask that you arrive for your appointment 5 minutes early and visit the washroom to wash your hands fully for at least the recommended 20 seconds with soap and under running water. This has been proven to be better at stopping the spread of germs than hand-gels although these are available also.
We are extending appointment times slightly so that we are able to thoroughly clean all surfaces and door handles etc between every patient, as always we use medical grade cleaning products.
Once in the clinic please keep a safe distance from other people, and the meeting room will also be available to wait in should you choose.
Entry to the clinic is strictly by appointment only and we ask that you do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment at this time.
It goes without saying now if either yourself or any household contacts have developed a temperature / fever or a new continuous repetitive cough then please do NOT visit the clinic, simply call the clinic and we will happily rearrange your appointment.
Finally, we are carrying out regular temperature checks on ourselves to monitor our temperatures and we will act accordingly if we do have an elevated temperature.
We are trying our best to prevent the spread of infection and we would really appreciate your support in trying to keep everyone safe.
